Product Description: This specialized
series of inverters was developed specifically for mobile military applications,
and is currently in use by NATO forces internationally. The rugged, lightweight
design and portable enclosure, coupled with Nova's proven reliability,
make this series ideal for any Harsh Environment application! These units
are especially designed convert 48 VDC telecommunication power into AC
to power test equipment or various instrumentation. The inverters can be
either mounted within vehicles or easily hand-carried by one person. In
addition to the standard equipment found on our standard Galaxy-Series
inverters, the PORTABLE MILITARIZED models also contain other key features,
including:

Wide Temperature Operation - Can withstand operating temps between
-40 to +60 degrees Celsius
-
Extensive EMI Filtering - The inverters feature an Input EMI Filter
for attenuating input noise and common mode noise to comply with MIL-STD-461
(with some relaxations.) An Output EMI Filter is also included to filter
the output leads and deliver clean power to the load.

Heavy-Duty Input Circuit Breakers - Act as ON / OFF switch and as
additional protection. (rating varies by model)

Additional Ruggedization - The inverters are ruggedized against
shock, vibration, and humidity to meet MIL-STD-810. In addition, all boards
are conformal coated for extra protection against high-humidity and potential
fungus growth.

Nova IGL-Series and GL-Series inverters can be arranged for three-phase
operation by the customer upon request. We accomplish this by packaging
three separate single-phase inverters as one three-phase unit or as a series
of modules. All popular nominal DC input voltages and AC output voltages
are available upon request, in sizes from 1.5-60+ KVA. Please consult the
